Pick your animal — 🐶 dog, 🐱 cat, 🐟 fish, 🐰 bunny or 🐹 hamster — and you go into a black space with it.
In there you drag shapes onto it to make it yours, choose what it eats, and choose where it lives and the weather there. You can look at the baby and the adult version too.
Then you pop up in that place holding an egg. Put it down and it hatches into a baby! It's wild, so feed it once to tame it 💖, and 3 feeds makes it grow up.
Explore the island: snow, jungle, desert, grassy lands and beaches, with giant hills to climb.
🌊 There's a big ocean all round the island and you can swim in it! Drop an egg in the water and it hatches an animal that swims. 🐟
📕 Save an animal into your Book and it's yours for ever, even if you delete it. 🎮 Press Games to sign your name and go and look round other people's worlds.
🌙 At night monsters come! Your adults fight them. Babies stay safe with you.
👑 When you have 10 pets the LEGENDARY box unlocks. A legendary animal is a boss, and people come to fight it. If they win, it's gone for ever!
🚶 Move: arrow keys, WASD, the arrow buttons, or drag your finger.
🥚 Make: press Make, pick your animal, then the black space opens.
🔷 Shapes: tap a shape in the left box, then drag it onto your animal and let go. Undo takes the last one off.
🍖 Food and 🏝️ Island: the right box picks what it eats, where it lives, and the weather.
🍼 Baby / Adult: the buttons at the bottom right show each version. You can put different shapes on the baby and on the adult. Tap a shape that's stuck on to take it off.
🌊 Ocean: pick OCEAN in the Island box, or just swim out to sea and put your egg in the water. Sea animals swim about instead of walking.
📕 Book and 🗑️ Delete: stand next to an animal to Save it into your Book or Delete it from your island. The Book keeps it for ever either way.
🎮 Games: sign your name and your world's name, then visit other people's worlds and press 🏠 Go home to come back.
📤 Let someone play YOUR world: in Games, press Make my share code. Send the code (or the link) to whoever you like. They paste it into their Games box and they're walking round your world with your animals. Your name is never in the code.
👑 Legendary: unlocks when you have 10 pets. It's a boss. People come and fight it, and if they beat it you lose it for good.
🌙 Night: monsters walk onto the island. Adult animals charge at them; three hits and a monster is gone. In the morning they all disappear.
🥚 Egg: you appear where your animal lives, holding its egg. Press Put it down (or space) and it hatches.
🍖 Feed: stand next to an animal and press Feed. One feed tames it, and 3 feeds turns a baby into an adult. You never run out of food.
💖 Tamed animals follow you everywhere on the island.
✏️ Name: stand next to a tamed animal and press Name.
🔄 Restart: the button in the top right starts the whole world again. It asks first!
This makes a brand new world.
All your animals will be gone and you start again with the questions.
Every animal you save goes in here and stays for ever, even if you delete it from your island.
Fill this in and your world joins the Games list.
